Невена Коканова е родана на 12.12.1938 г. в Дупница, България. Починала на 03.06.2000 г. в София. Дълго е наричана Първата дама на българското кино. Снима се за пръв път в ролята на Ема във филма „Години за любов“, изпълнява и ролята на Ирина в "Тютюн" и мн. други. Играла е над 50 роли в киното. Носител на награда "Златна камера".
